1st Game at Coors Field

This was a good game. Two Red hitters, Aaron Boone and Ken Griffey Jr,. both went yard before the Rockies exploded. In the 4th inning Larry Walker hit a 3 run home run. Walker then again stepped up to the plate with 2 runners on. Walker was intentionally walked for Todd Helton. Helton then took a pitch to left field for a grand slam. All home runs in this game, which is always great.

2nd Game at Coors Field

Nelson Figueroa was called up to pitch earlier in the morning pitching 6 innings of work. Home plate umpire Brian O'Nora made one of the worst calls I think I have ever seen. Garrett Atkins slid around the tag and touched home plate and he was called out. Rockies manager Clint Hurdle came out to argue and was slamming on the plate with his hands. I got back to grandma and grandpa's house and Sports Center replayed the call over and over again.

3rd Game at Coors Field

This game was controlled by the Reds. The Reds put up 16 hits on 14 runs. Jeff Fassero was already pitching bad this year. He wished he hadn't shown up to the park on this game while he gave up 11 Earned Runs in 3 Innings Pitched.

Matt Holliday smashed a 3 run home run off 300 game winner Tom Glavine. Jason Hirsh the pitcher for the Rockies had 2 RBI'S in this game. The Rockies scored 6 runs in the 3rd inning. The Mets tried to come back with 2 runs in the 8th inning.

5th Game at Coors Field

Rain was the answer in this game. It started raining about an hour away from game time. I didn't think we would get the game in. The sun finally came out just before game time. Troy Tulowitzki was hammering everything, he needed a triple for the cycle. This was a beating by the Rockies as they won 8-2.
