1st Game at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome
White Sox vs Twins- Gavin Floyd vs Nick Blackburn. It seemed to me like the White Sox could get anything going vs Twins pitching. Joe Mauer and Jason Kubel went deep in this game. Blackburn pitched very well pitching 7 IP, 1 ER, and 7 K's. I thought the Metrodome was a cozy place to watch a play game. It also got very loud in the stadium, there was 19,000 and it sounded like 40,000. The only problem I have with the Metrodome is the concourses are not very wide and the leg room was cramped. After this game Jose Contreras and Jim Thome had been traded.

Tigers vs Twins- Rick Porcello vs Scott Baker- TIE BREAKER GAME- This was an amazing game. The Tigers quickly took a 3-0 lead. The Twins came right back with a run stranding two. Jason Kubel then hit a a solo shot almost reaching the upper deck. In the Twins 7th, Orlando Cabrera hit a 2 run shot to give the Twins a 4-3 lead. Magglio Ordonez in the the 8th inning took a fastball to the seats. His homerun quickly got out of the park. The Twins and Tigers kept stranding men on third base with only 1 out. Nathan escaped out of a jam in the 9th inning when the Tigers had a runner on first and second with one out and Ordonez hit into a double play with Miguel Cabrera on deck. Then in the 11th inning with one out Punto hit a liner to the left fielder Raburn and he threw the man out at home plate.
