141. Cardinals vs Brewers   August 2nd, 2011.  Jaime Garcia vs Shaun Marcum.   This game had every bit of emotion. Brewers got off to a 2-0 start after Hart and Hairston Jr scored after back to back hits in the first. Holliday answered with a bomb off the scoreboard (443 ft) to make it 2-1. Cardinals put up a five spot in the 4th inning including a home run by Jaime Garcia. Brewers came back in the fifth inning and put up a four of their our. Betancourt hit a ball to left which I thought was not leaving the park, but the humidity carried it over the left field wall to make it 7-6.   Cardinals and Brewers had bases loaded with less than one out and could not get them in. Cardinals scored on a double play to make it 7-7 by Holliday which looked like it was going to be a rough inning.  In the 9th inning, the Brewers had first and second Lopez hit a blooper to left and Furcal made a game saving catch to run it down. Molina was ejected in the 10th inning on a inside pitch. It looked like he had spit at the umpire and bumped him several times. The 11th inning Berkman hit a RBI blooper to left field with two outs to win the game.    L

140. Cardinals vs Brewers  August 1st, 2011.    Chris Carpenter vs Zack Greinke.  W
139. Rays vs Brewers.     June 21st, 2011.  Jeremy Hellickson vs Zack Greinke. Hellickson got into a mess by walking three of the first four batters he faced to load the bases. Hellickson escaped by allowing only one run in the first. Betancourt started the second inning off with a line drive home run shot to left field. Greinke had one of his greatest starts as a Brewer and also had six strikeouts through three innings. Tampa Bay Rays had a quiet night offensively which was not a surprise. Brewers collected a couple of walks and hits in the seventh with Braun's two RBI single and a Fielder single.      W

138. Giants vs Brewers.     May 27th, 2011. Tim Lincecum vs Shaun Marcum. Rickie Weeks hit a two run home run off Lincecum in the 3rd inning. Brandon Crawford, who had never played above Double-A ball before this game, hit a grand slam off Brewers starter Shaun Marcum for his first career hit. In the eighth inning down 3-5 with the bases loaded, Jonathan Lucroy hit a base hit to left to score Braun but Fielder was a dead duck and collided with Eli Whiteside. Buster Posey got nailed two days before at home plate before and he will miss the rest of the season.    L

137. Reds vs Brewers   April 27th, 2011. Sam LeCure vs Yovani Gallardo. Gallardo did not have his stuff or command at all this game. Reds put up 4 runs in the first, including a three run home run by Joey Votto. Brewers kept chipping away and finally tied the game on Fielder's ground out error. Reds came back in the 6th inning to come back on top with Votto and Phillip's RBI singles.  Brewers answered right back with two of their own including a RBI single by Mark Kotsay and a sac fly by Rickie Weeks. Finally the problems came for the Brewers when Drew Stubbs connects for a 415 foot bomb. Alrodis Chapman reached 101 mph a handful of times to Braun, and Gomez.   Braun set a franchise record for reaching base safely in consecutive games to start a season at 24 when he was hit by a pitch in the fifth to top Robin Yount's mark that stood 28 years. A very good crowd the whole series on the school day games. 33,800 was a good crowd for a Wednesday day game.    L

136. Reds vs Brewers   April 26th, 2011. Mike Leake vs Marco Estrada. The long ball was the answer tonight for both clubs!  Prince Fielder had a 367 foot shot in the 2nd inning. Brandon Phillips took the only mistake from Marco Estrada and put it over the left field wall to grab the lead. Later that inning Ryan Braun killed a ball 422 feet to right center to tie the game. Mike Leake was pitching his first road game since his incident of stealing t-shirts for $60.00. Brewer fans were yelling "thief, thief, thief, thief" at Leake. Estrada and Leake both pitched well , 7 innings and two runs allowed. Rickie Weeks crushed a line drive bullet over the left field wall, which I thought would be a gapper but the ball kept going and even shocked Reds manager Dusty Baker. John Axford collected his fifth save of the season. Attendance was amazing at 37,000 for a school night!     W

135. Braves vs Brewers.   April 6th, 2011. Mike Minor vs Marco Estrada. I got really good seats behind home plate. I have a couple of photos of me on TV. Prince Fielder was all over everything he this night- 3 Hits, 3 RBI'S. Jason Heyward hit a line drive 3 run shot to right field in the 6th, The Brewers hung on to win 5-4.     W

134. Braves vs Brewers    April 5th, 2011. Derek Lowe vs Yovani Gallardo. Braun got the Brewers on the board with a RBI single off of Chipper Jones' glove. It was all the Brewers needed the whole game and Gallardo lead the way. Gallardo pitched a complete game shutout and a two hitter.  Gallardo is the first Brewers pitcher in team history to throw a shutout and score the only run of the game. The last pitcher to do this was Pete Harnisch for the Astros on June 25, 1991.  W

133. Braves vs Brewers   April 4th, 2011. Brandon Beachy vs Chris Narveson. The Brewers started the season 0-3 looking for their first win. Weeks hit a blast to left in the 4th inning. Braves got out of a lot of jams especially when the Brewers had runners on third three times. Martin Prado went deep off Saito and later that inning Dan Uggla hit a ball on top of the left field and barely made it over the wall for a homerun. The crowd of over 46,000 went silent and booed. L
