1ST GAME AT PNC PARK

We had stayed 10 minutes away from PNC Park. The downtown area was wonderful. Pittsburgh is very hilly when driving through the city. We got tickets for the "all you can eat" section. They were $30 a piece. It was a feast!  They served nachos, popcorn, peanuts, ice cream sandwiches. drinks, and hot dogs. The aisles were littered with empty wrappers, peanut shells, containers, drink holders and cups. It was a good game with the Reds hitting 2 homeruns by Brandon Phillips and Javier Valentin. Volquez picked up the win vs Karstens.

2ND GAME AT PNC PARK

We arrived in Carnegie, PA at about midnight after driving from the Phillies game. The Cardinals just kept getting RBI base hits to score everyone. Adam Wainwright pitched pretty well, 6 innings pitched allowing 2 runs and 7 strikeouts. Paul Maholm could not find the strike zone, 53-95 ball to strike ratio. It was chilly at the start of the game until the sun came out. MOTHER'S DAY!

3RD GAME AT PNC PARK

This game started off with Shaun Marcum & Kevin Correia pitching no hitter's going into the 5th inning. The Brewers emerged in the 6th inning by attacking the Pirates.  Prince Fielder hit an off speed pitch into the cold Pittsburgh air to the deepest part of the park for a home run to break this game open.  Marcum pitched 7 innings by not giving up a run. The crowd there in Pittsburgh was the smallest crowd I had ever been to a Major League game.  It was also the seventh-smallest crowd in PNC Park history( not hard to believe).  I do not believe there was 8,755 there either. It looked like there was 2,000 people there at the game. Also the fans here in Pittsburgh yell at their players all the time, and it makes the players feel like garbage. I felt like I was at a minor league game( Beloit Snappers). The Pirates better get back on track, this stadium is amazing and for a bad team to lose year after year is a shame.

FROM BREWERS JOURNALIST
-
Haudricourt: The Brewers and Pirates play in about 20 minutes and I'd say there are about 100 people in PNC Park. Plenty of good decks available.
Pirates announced attendance tonight at PNC Park is 8,755. Subtract about 6,000 and you'll be a lot closer to actual attendance.

Pirates fans behind us heckling Fielder-- Prince nailed a home run and as he rounded third base he looked towards our section.

4TH GAME AT PNC PARK

Randy Wolf pitched one of his best games as a Milwaukee Brewer.  Wolf went 6.2 IP and 10 Strikeouts. Fielder stayed hot by hitting a RBI single in the first off Paul Maholm as he was hitting .142 against him in his career. This game was pretty much all pitching. Wolf 6.2 IP  0 ER  3 Hits  2 BB  10 Strikeouts- Maholm 7.0 IP  4 Hits  2 ER  3 BB  6 Strikeouts.
